Due to a cancellation, the house and annex are now available for this festive season. £1250 for one week,£2250 for two!
We have learned that The Bell pub in Broadway has recently re-opened, and have good food on offer. This means that Myrtle House now has two good pubs, both offering food, and both within a ten minute walking distance of the house. What’s more, both are wheelchair accessible.
We have three weeks availability from 11 August. Ten per cent reduction on full prices, with a further reduction for anyone booking two consecutive weeks. Call 07970698062 for more information.
At last we can confirm that we have been awarded a 3a grade under this scheme. This means the annex will comfortably accommodate anyone with a mobility problem up to, and including those unfortunate enough to be confined to a wheelchair and who travel with a carer.
Please remember that MH is now organised to accommodate large parties, up to 9 ( exceptionally 11 ), or small ones, 2 or 3, with specialist equipment for the disabled , at commensurate prices.
For the last few months, Myrtle House has been undergoing some extensive building alterations. We have been working hard to convert the buildings at the side of the house into living accommodation. Progress has been good and we are pleased to be able to say that, after Easter, we plan to open this new annexe to the main house for bookings. The space has been specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users, disabled people and their carers. Our aim is to attain a level three grading in the National Accessibility Standards, and we will update as with further details we get closer to our opening date at the end of April. Exciting times!
Two weeks in August still available.
1 August price reduced to £700
22 August price reduced to £675
The broadband service will be upgraded from 1 June 2015. The upgraded service is BT’s fibre-optic Infinity service, which they suggest will improve matters by a factor of 10, so great news whether you are working or simply uploading holiday pics!
Just a quick note to celebrate a successful transfer of the Myrtle House website to a new platform – WordPress. With Google placing more emphasis on mobile-friendly sites, and the old platform not really being responsive, it felt like the the right time!
At this point, the content on the site is largely unchanged. We have some updates planned for the coming weeks and months, though. If there’s anything you’d like to see here that you haven’t found, or indeed any other comments, do let us know, either in the comments below or using our contact details on the left!
