Our new Annex has been built with the specific aim of achieving excellent levels of disabled access. We have now submitted the property for assessment by the national body (Visit England), and hope to have some good news to report here soon!
For the last few months, Myrtle House has been undergoing some extensive building alterations. We have been working hard to convert the buildings at the side of the house into living accommodation. Progress has been good and we are pleased to be able to say that, after Easter, we plan to open this new annexe to the main house for bookings. The space has been specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users, disabled people and their carers. Our aim is to attain a level three grading in the National Accessibility Standards, and we will update as with further details we get closer to our opening date at the end of April. Exciting times!
